Nestled deep in the woods is Musgrave Outpost. Facing south it overlooks a protected bay; a favourite spot for anglers all season long. Walleye are plentiful throughout Musgrave Lake and big northern pike are often caught while jigging for walleye in the east bay. A short portage to Kilbarry Lake provides the opportunity to reel in a trophy northern pike as well as exciting walleye action at the rapids near the portage trail. Whether you’re a serious angler or just looking for a remote spot to spend some quality time, this fast-action fishery is sure to please. Average walleye size is 17-19 inches and pike is 30-34 inches.
