FLY IN FISHING IN NORTHERN ONTARIO
Experience world class fishing, remote lakes, and the calm of true northern wilderness. Wilderness North offers fly in access to untouched waters where walleye, northern pike, brook trout, and lake trout thrive in healthy and balanced ecosystems. Our lodges and outpost cabins sit deep within the boreal forest, far from roads and crowds, which creates a fishing experience that feels both peaceful and exciting. Whether you are planning your first northern Ontario fishing trip or returning for another year of adventure, our lakes offer consistent action, impressive fish, and the freedom to explore at your own pace.
WHAT TO EXPECT ON THE WATER
Fishing days begin with calm shorelines and rising mist across the lake. Many guests describe moments of complete stillness followed by sudden bursts of action as fish strike below the surface.
Our fisheries offer a mix of shallow bays, rocky points, narrow channels, and deep basins. Jigging, casting, trolling, and fly fishing are all effective methods depending on the season and lake.
Expect steady walleye fishing, hard hitting northern pike, and opportunities for lake trout and brook trout on select waters.
