Wilderness North guests have access to 16,000 acres of pristine waters, weedy bays, rocky reefs, and numerous small islands. The fishing is remarkable with the chance to catch 45in plus northern pike, and full stringers of fat walleyes! Parties of four to eight can easily fish this area and never see another person. Ogoki Lake…what a waterway! Some say it’s the best fishery in Northwestern Ontario; we dare you to compare. This large, shallow lake is extremely easy to fish and is home to some of the area’s most prolific walleye and pike fishing. Walleye are found in the Ogoki River and along the many islands and shoals. The largest Wilderness North trophy Northern Pike on record was caught and released here — a whopping 53 inches. This fishery will keep you coming back for more!
